10. Perseverance and openness are the top skills needed to be a highly effective start-up founder according to Forbes. Being in it for the long haul because you believe you are making a difference and being open to change whatever is needed to make it a success.


Remember just because it's a fact doesn't mean it's assured. So get creative, be weird and and get out of your comfort zone. Start-ups are not born from routine, they are born from adversity.
